Thulium potentially has use in ferrites, ceramic magnetic materials that are used in microwave equipment. it is used in arc lighting for its unusual spectrum. Thulium Metal can be further processed to various shapes of ingots, pieces, wires, foils, slabs, rods, discs and powder.
