Thulium Nitrate has specialized uses in ceramics, glass, phosphors, lasers, also is the important dopant for fibre amplifiers. Thulium Nitrate Pentahydrate is a highly water soluble crystalline Thulium source for uses compatible with Nitrates and lower (acidic) pH. Thulium Nitrate can be manufactured as solutions at specified stoichiometries. It can also be used in portable X-ray devices that has been bombarded in a nuclear reactor as a radiation source.
